When the death of a loved one happens, it can be an emotionally charged time, an overwhelming, stressful and confusing time intertwined with a terrific sense of duty, responsibility or desire to honour and farewell someone you love in a special and memorable way.
Remember Me Funeral Ceremonies is here to help you and your family navigate this very challenging time in your life. We work in close partnership with your chosen funeral director to fulfill the wishes of your loved one and your family, and to ensure a respectful and meaningful life celebration.
We provide a meaningful, guided, supported, well timed and planned farewell for your loved one. We personalise every ceremony that truly honours the individual. Remember Me Funeral Ceremonies leads the funeral or memorial service, ensuring all elements run smoothly on the day.
We offer funeral celebrancy services for cremation or burial and work closely with families and your chosen funeral director to create a ceremony that reflects the love, life and impact your loved one had on others and their community.
A memorial service is a meaningful way to honour a loved one without the presence of a coffin or casket. A memorial service is often held after cremation or burial, or might be held weeks or months after a loved one has passed. Remember Me Funeral Ceremonies will guide, support or create a fitting service that reflects the life, memory, love and wonderful impact they made.
Funeral ceremonies and memorial services are deeply personal expressions of a loved one’s individuality, values, traditions and beliefs. They can be formal or relaxed and flexible farewells, spiritual, cultural or story – driven to ensure it feels right for you, your family, and the loved one you are honouring.
We work very closely with your chosen funeral director to ensure an admirable ceremony for your loved one. We maintain constant, professional, and timely communication with your funeral director to ensure a funeral ceremony that truly honours your loved one. It's common for your funeral director to introduce you to your funeral celebrant; however, you also have the option to introduce your chosen funeral celebrant to your funeral director.
Remember Me Funeral Ceremonies meet with you to learn about the person who has died, discuss wishes and begin planning the ceremony. We value participation and sharing of information, stories and memories from family and friends to assist with a truly meaningful, comforting and respectful planning of service. It is important to us to understand unique circumstances, preferences and expectations of families we serve.
We guide families with information to consider for the order of service. The order of service details the steady flow and all included parts of the ceremony. Our professional and reliable help with these steps maintains a calm, engaging, and thoughtful selection process of readings, music, eulogy, tributes, committal, and reflections, which may include personal touches, a theme, traditions, or rituals that honour the life of your loved one.
Alternatively, we can create all elements of the order of service for you should the task be too overwhelming at this difficult time. We achieve this by understanding the needs of our families and collaborating with them to create an order of service that is respectful, comforting and connects everyone gathered in that special moment of farewell.
Sometimes you just can’t find the words to express how you feel, and this is where our professional experience can help. Families may feel too overwhelmed to create a beautiful eulogy honouring their loved one, and this is when Remember Me Funeral Ceremonies can confidently step in to create a respectful, memorable, and unique eulogy.
All eulogies are prepared from scratch – no “off the shelf” pre-prepared script. All eulogy content is gathered in consultation with families, capturing the collective wishes and needs of the family and the deceased, to honour the life of a loved one. You may prefer to engage our help to guide a eulogy or to make considered suggestions, which is something we are ready to assist you, or a family member with. We can deliver the eulogy on your family’s behalf if required. It would be our privilege to do so and support your family on a very difficult, emotional day.
