What are Celebrant - Led funerals?

Celebrant - Led funerals or memorials are highly personalised, flexible and heartfelt, allowing families to shape a ceremony for their loved one according to their beliefs, traditions and values. They allow for personal touches to be included that honour the individuality of the person being remembered.

What We Do

We work closely with families to gather stories, memories, meaningful music and readings to create heartfelt funeral ceremonies full of comfort, respect and connection. We guide, support, provide suggestions and clarity regardless of religious, spiritual or cultural beliefs, to ensure the funeral ceremony honours the life of your loved one. 

Who We Serve

We serve our community and families. It is important to us to understand unique circumstances, preferences and expectations of families we serve. Family engagement and participation with us builds trust and better communication to deliver a funeral ceremony that is memorable, bespoke and respectful. We partner with funeral directors and other service providers to ensure a beautifully prepared, well time - managed funeral ceremony that flows respectfully, and provides a meaningful experience that brings comfort and connection to those grieving.   Remember Me Funeral Ceremonies is a member of the Funeral Celebrants Association Australia (Inc). 

What Is Our Role

We create and guide funeral ceremonies from scratch. We meet with families in one of life’s most challenging moments to ensure every detail of the ceremony is thoughtfully planned. We discuss with families the life, personality, memories, stories, values and wishes of the deceased so we can shape a formal or relaxed heartfelt ceremony. We take the lead in creating, officiating and delivering bespoke ceremonies which may include guiding the order of service, preparing the eulogy and words of committal, selecting music and readings. We want to remember and honour your loved one in a way that feels right for you, and is full of empathy, care and respect for your family.
